With the Premier League and EFL seasons now in what we can consider full swing, English football is taking its first steps into the 2020/21 calendar and although the first four tiers of the league pyramid are in operation, questions remain regarding the two levels below. Two levels that are overseen by the governing body known as the National League and with the fifth tier being the gateway to the dream of league football, many a club chairman has bankrolled a shot at the big time.
