The link between American investment and Italian football has been a seemingly strong one as of late, as the likes of AS Roma, AC Milan and Fiorentina are now overseen by stateside majority shareholders or owners. The ultimate aim for anyone buying into Serie A from the other side of the Atlantic, is the eventual chase of Juventus and with the ‘Old Lady of Turin’ winning the last nine editions of the competition, it is not an aim that has been achieved just yet.
