While although a new Scottish football season is underway, loose ends are still being tied up from the previous edition and with Hearts and Partick Thistle’s relegation appeals failing to reach the back of the net, now it is time for the ‘M8 Alliance’ to face the music. As the two clubs prepare for an October restart in the Championship and League One respectively, there was the small matter of dealing with the Scottish Football Association (SFA) and the fact that they took their initial relegations to the court of arbitration.
