With football lying dormant earlier in the year, it was Germany that picked up the competitive baton for the rest of the world and with the top two divisions playing to a rightful conclusion, the restart phase was considered an unqualified success. A success that even with positive COVID-19 tests within the squad of Dynamo Dresden, did little to derail all the behind the scenes work that was carried out and with an increased global audience being generated, German football seems to be in a state of relative rude health.
