As the UK Government unfolds its roadmap for post-pandemic life, the continuation of sporting activity is at the forefront and although several competitions have restarted, they do so without the roar of the crowd to spur them on. None more so than in the Premier League and although ‘Project Restart’ was an unqualified success, the sight of 92 fixtures being played in front of empty stadiums, meant its usual sheen was somewhat lacking.
